    TV producer Aoyama Shigeharu (Ryo Ishibashi) is a middle-class man, Shigehiko (Tetsu Sawaki) his teenage son. His friend, movie producer Yoshikawa (Jun Kunimura), has the perfect palliative for Aoyoma's loneliness: test out a number of possible new wives by holding a phony movie audition. The clueless Shigeharu eagerly agrees, and he and Yoshikawa hold interviews marked by questions about sex that seem to have little to do with acting. Aoyama eventually settles on tall, otherworldly waif Asami (played by ex-model Eihi Shiina). The more seasoned Yoshikawa senses that something's not quite right with Asami; he investigates and finds many a hole in her story.

Ko Eun-Bi (Ku Hye-Sun) is a medical student, but she dreams of becoming a musical actress. She thinks about musicals all day and even dreams about musicals at night. Hong Jae-Hee (Daniel Choi) comes back to South Korea. He used to compose songs for musicals, but now writes pop songs. With only 2 weeks left before she has to return to medical school Eun-Bi becomes desperate. She spots an audition advertisement looking for a male musical actor. Eun-Bi decides to take part in the audition dressing up as a man. Her ruse is discovered though by Yoo-Jin (Park Gi-Woong), an investor for musicals, and she is kicked out from the audition. In the bathroom of the audition, Eun-Bi meets a woman named Sa Bok-Ja (Park Kyeong-Rim). Bok-Ha insists she is a musical instructor and gives lessons to Eun-Bi. Bok-Ja even moves into Eun-Bi's apartment. Eun-Bi then decides to take a year off from school, believing that with lessons from Bok-Ja she can make her dreams come true.

The final winner will debut with the company of his or her choice (Antenna, YG, or JYP), along with a cash prize of three hundred million won (approx. 300,000 U.S. dollars), two brand new vehicles, opportunities to become commercial models and casting in dramas, and many more.

Ever since the sensational phenomenon called Produce 101 finished, there were rumors and talks about a boys version of the reality survival show. Mnet has finally revealed their upcoming hit reality show, Boys 24. Much like the previous girl version, 24 male trainees will compete in a variety of challenges in order to debut as a group. BOYS24 has released the first introduction for the newest Mnet survival reality program. On June 14, 소년24 shared the comedic introduction video featuring Shinhwa′s Eric through their official SNS channels. The premise is that Eric is upset that there is “another audition show” and Shin Hye Sung explains to him that BOYS24 is actually very different from usual audition programs. Unlike other audition programs, BOYS24 includes the three parts: broadcast, performance and digital, to create a total entertainment experience. Meanwhile, BOYS24 is a unit survival reality program. Based on skill and potential, 49 contestants dreaming to become the next idol will compete in groups. The first episode will air on Mnet and tvN beginning June 18. Mnet had started teasing for the show by revealing 7 members over 7 days. The boys seem to be top class trainees who are talented, handsome, and oh so charismatic!
