    Mitamura Yukio (Sawamura Ikki) is the founder and president of a rapidly growing apparel company. Mitamura places priority on the company’s profits and overworks his employees. He justifies this with the belief that hard work is necessary to achieve results. He does not think his beloved company exploits its employees. Mitamura enrolls in a university to study company management from the basics. This is where he meets a new lecturer Akiyama Kyoko (Kuroki Meisa). Although he feels attracted to the intellectual Kyoko, the differences in their way of thinking results in frequent clashes. Within the company while Mitamura is in college there is an attempt to oust him from his company. With the knowledge he has gained from attending university classes Mitamura soon realizes that his company does indeed exploit its employees. A power struggle soon begins inside the company.

The Aoshima Company is a precision machine maker, located in the suburbs of Tokyo. The company is a medium sized corporation. The have a conference once every week to report achievements made and the prospects for the company. At the conference, President Takashi Hosokawa (Toshiaki Karasawa) gives a menacing look, while executives shout at each other. After President Takashi took his job, the economy significantly worsened due to a financial sector slump. The Aoshima Company suffered because of this and faces difficulties. President Takashi then tells executives to abolish the baseball team. The executives are shocked. President Takashi informs the executives that he has heard the bank may cancel their loan from the next session. To show the bank that they are trying to improve their situation he has decided to cancel the baseball team. The baseball team needs 300 million yen to exist. Their baseball team was once well regarded, but they re now a burden to the company. President Takashi must persuade the Chairman and Founder of the company Tsuyoshi Aoshima (Tsutomu Yamazaki) before he can abolish the baseball team. He goes to talk with Chairman Tsuyoshi. The Chairman asks President Takashi “do you have  'ism' as a company president? If you want to fire people, you need to have 'ism' as a company president." President Takashi tells him that he doesn't have 'ism' right now, but no matter what he will protect the Aoshima Company. That is his 'ism.' A bigger crisis ensues.

The South Korean President travels to a villa to enjoy his vacation. After three gunshots are fired, he disappears. His bodyguard Han Tae-Kyung (Park Yoo-Chun) then attempts to find the President. .... Han Tae-Kyung (Park Yoo-Chun) works as a presidential guard. He goes to the hospital to see his father who is a high ranking government official. His father got into a car accident last night and is now in critical condition. Han Tae-Kyung only watches his father through a window for a short time before going back to work. Meanwhile, President Lee Dong-Whi (Son Hyun-Joo) is in his third year of service as the South Korean President. He received huge support during his first year, but his approval rating has declined ever since. A special prosecutor is now investigating President Lee Dong-Whi's finances prior to becoming the President. To cheer himself up, the President decides to make a visit to a traditional market. During the President's visit to the traditional market, Han Tae-Kyung's phone keeps ringing. He feels that something might be wrong with his father. Then, a man throws white powder on the President and the bodyguards respond accordingly. After the incident, Han Tae-Kyung receives a text message that his father has passed away. Meanwhile, Han Tae-Kyung is reprimanded because the President was hit with the powder. He leaves his badge and gun behind and goes to his father's funeral. At the funeral, a woman talks to Han Tae-Kyung. She asks him if he has seen a white envelope among the things his father left behind. She also tells him that her father's car accident might have been premeditated murder. She gives him her name card. Her name is Yoon Bo-Won (Park Ha-Sun) and she is a police officer. Soon, Han Tae-Kyung hears from a dying man that "The President will die on March 5th". As Han Tae-Kyung attempts to enter the vacation villa where the President is staying, he is blocked by soldiers because Han Tae-Kyung doesn't have his badge. Three gun shots are then fired inside the President's villa.
