Manuel and Marian have been best friends since they were kids. They are so close that they know each other's secrets...well, almost. For the last 16 years, Manuel never had the courage to tell Marian how much he loves her. On the other hand, Marian sees Manuel as no more than her best friend. Marian's greatest love has always been Lance (Sam), a classmate who protected her from bullies back in grade school. Ever since Lance and his family migrated abroad ten years ago, Marian never had the chance to establish contact with him again. The only thing that Marian knows is that Lance has become the lead singer of the new rock band, Orion. Good fortune smiles on Marian when Orion decides to tour the Philippines. Marian is intent on seeing Lance again, and she brings Manuel with her on a chase that brings them around the Philippines and abroad. Manuel believes that the whole chase is futile because a popular star like Lance will not remember a simple girl like Marian, but Marian does not believe him. When Lance and Marian finally meet again, sparks fly between them. Manuel now has to decide - will he let his best friend be happy with her Prince Charming, or will he fight for the love that has kept him alive for the last 16 years?

The Unmarried Wife

The Unmarried Wife is a 2016 Filipino romance drama film starring Angelica Panganiban, Dingdong Dantes and Paulo Avelino. The film is directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes while the story is written by Keiko Aquino under the production of Star Cinema. The film project marks the reunion of Angelica and Dingdong after their box-office success with One More Try (2012) with Angel Locsin. It is also Dingdong's fourth time to lead in Star Cinema movies after Segunda Mano (2011), One More Try (2012) and She's the One (2013). In the movie, Angelica portrays a woman torn between her husband and her lover. The film is screening across the Philippines as well as a limited release in Canada and the United States.

Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy
Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy

Plot Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy is a movie with Vice Ganda playing four roles who each have distinct sexualities. That concept might sound like a gimmick for the comedian to show the fans his new heights of entertainment and laughs. Since that is the whole case of the movie, it does the job neatly. Though the typical style of Wenn Deramas is still there, but the film provides an emotional core to make up after all of those endless antics. While people would still find it corny, the decent achievement still makes it entertaining. As expected, the Vice Ganda-starrer "Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy" under Star Cinema would break box-office records. For that, I would like to congratulate all the producers and staff of the movie for a job well done. Personally, I believe that the movie deserves all these successes because it's a marvelous comedy-flick movie that will make everyone inside the cinema laugh, cry, and entertained.
